London-based buy and build focused PE firm Sovereign Capital Partners has acquired Apollo Home Healthcare.

Founded in 2014, Apollo Home Healthcare is a UK-based provider specialising in bespoke, nurse-led complex care for children and adults, allowing individuals with high-acuity, life-limiting, or chronic conditions to live at home. It offers personalised, often long-term, support for brain/spinal injuries and ventilation.

For healthcare operators, the deal underscores the rising importance of the complex homecare segment, which addresses the needs of patients with long-term, intensive medical requirements. 

The timing of the acquisition suggests that the private equity sector remains confident in the resilience of the high-acuity care market despite broader economic fluctuations. Investors will note that the integration of advanced clinical needs into home settings continues to be a high-growth area attracting sophisticated institutional backing.
