Life sciences dinner in Cambridge

24 September 2025

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our second life sciences dinner in as many weeks — this time set against the beautiful backdrop of Trinity College, Cambridge.

Together with our co-hosts Taylor Wessing and Stifel Financial Corp. we were delighted to welcome leading figures from across the life sciences community in Cambridge and beyond. The evening was filled with insightful discussion, diverse perspectives, and great company — all focused on driving positive change in the sector.

Candesic senior partner Michelle Tempest was delighted to welcome a fantastic range of attendees, including:
Sarah Howell (Arecor), Tim Dye (Cambridge Nutraceuticals), Zahra Jawad (Creasallis), and Anne Horgan (nee Nguyen) (Cambridge Innovation Capital), among many others.

Topics of conversation included:
🔹 The implications of recent pauses in investment and expansion
🔹 Evolving conversations around pricing and rebates
🔹 Why the UK remains an attractive hub for informed investors

A special thanks to Adrian Toutoungi (Taylor Wessing) and Charles Hoare (Stifel) and their colleagues for helping to make the evening such a success.
