Harley Street is renowned for its links to the medical profession. In the 1800s, the well-to-do and well-connected area attracted well-to-do and well-connected people, becoming popular with doctors and burgeoning into a medical hub. Hospitals, the Medical Society of London, and the Royal Society of Medicine followed.
 
But is Harley Street still the place to be?

Out of a total of 60 private hospitals in Inner London, we found 32 in the Harley Street area. The size of each dot on this infographic connotes the volume of procedures.
