Candesic Senior Partner Marc Kitten has been attending HPE Europe 2024 today, which was organized by McDermott Will & Emery. The Right Honourable Rory Stewart, OBE, delivered a fascinating keynote address.

In this morning’s exciting session, panellists explored the future of medicine. They discussed the increasing complexity of clinical trials, which is placing pressure on prices and ultimately pushing down ROI on new drugs.

AI was lauded as a way to reduce costs and decrease failure, with a better understanding at the molecular level. It was felt that companies should already have AI integrated or be left behind.
