How is technology reshaping care delivery?

Candesic senior partner, Dr Michelle Tempest was delighted to take to the stage to discuss this key question with Chris Hart from Lottie, Iain Corrigan from CoolCare , Katie Thorn from Digital Care Hub and Ernie Graham from Graham Care Limited as a panel at the LaingBuisson Social Care Summit, in London.

Digital transformation in the sector is accelerating rapidly. Over 90% of care homes have switched over to digital care note systems. Going forward medication management, incident reporting, and smart monitoring tools will be increasingly in the spotlight.

Michelle was keen to highlight the importance of a having well-defined digital strategy aimed at enabling interoperability and empowering staff, rather than introducing additional complexity. She also stressed the growing importance of outcome visualisation to help care teams measure impact and to support families in making informed care choices.
