Dr Michelle Tempest contributes to new CSJ report on mental health support
Improving patient outcomes is at the heart of what we do at Candesic, and mental health continues to be of particular importance. Senior Partner Dr Michelle Tempest recently contributed to a special report by The Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) on new approaches to providing mental health support.
The CSJ mission is to put social justice at the heart of British politics by influencing the policies the Government creates and the laws it makes. Working with experts and charities supporting the very people these policies seek to support; they can develop first-class evidence-based reports with honest and life-changing recommendations.
This special report shines a light on mental illness and provides 35 key recommendations across various themes to improve the delivery and protection of mental health support in the UK. The CSJ intends to use the report to advocate for “meaningful and lasting change focused on prevention and early intervention.”
