Candesic provided commercial due diligence to ARCHIMED

27 October 2025

Candesic is pleased to have provided commercial due diligence to ARCHIMED, as its FIM Medical becomes the leading developer and distributor of European occupational healthcare devices through its purchase of Vistec GmbH.

The Candesic team was led by Senior Partner Marc Kitten and Engagement Manager Marco MAZEVET.

European-based global investment firm ARCHIMED acquired Vistec from German investment firm 22 Ventures GmbH. The purchase makes FIM Medical Europe’s largest developer and distributor of European occupational healthcare devices by revenue and substantially increases the company’s international sales, which span Europe, the US and Canada.

Vistec was founded in 2000, and is based in Olching, Germany, near Munich. Prior to this acquisition, FIM Medical, based in Lyon and founded in 1986, was already the leader in the French occupational healthcare market. Candesic assisted ARCHIMED with its commercial due diligence of FIM in October last year.

“ARCHIMED and FIM are exploring more acquisitions to expand products and geographical reach. We’ve substantially strengthened our leadership of European occupational healthcare with the purchase of Vistec,” says Marie-Ange Derei, FIM Medical’s CEO.

FIM Medical was acquired by ARCHIMED through its MED Rise Fund. MED Rise is ARCHIMED’s small-cap fund dedicated to buyouts within the global healthcare industries. MED Rise, three times oversubscribed, closed in April 2024, reaching its hard cap of €400 million.
