Candesic is pleased to have carried out commercial due diligence and supported pan-European London-based entrepreneurial private equity firm Columna Capital on its acquisition of a majority stake in Evidenze from Buenavista Equity Partners.

The Candesic team was led by senior partner Marc Kitten, supported by senior engagement manager Dr Chris Cassar and senior associate Javier Garcia Perez.

Evidenze is a pan-European outsourced pharmaceutical services platform headquartered in Barcelona with operations across Portugal, Italy and Germany, serving clients in more than 20 countries. The business brings together clinical research, scientific services and digital health capabilities, and has developed a strong position supporting the full lifecycle of drug development and commercialisation.

Marc Kitten explains: “This transaction demonstrates the continued potential for mid-market European CROs, especially the combination of high-quality, differentiated assets with acquirers who bring deep expertise and a defined value creation plan to accelerate the next phase of growth post-acquisition.”
