Candesic hosting a roundtable to champion Genetics sector

2 February 2023

This week Candesic hosted a roundtable to champion our genetics sector in a global race of discovery. Dr Michelle Tempest kicked off the event explaining three broad reasons why the UK should remain positive about the future:

First – we are a proud diverse and multicultural nation, which is much needed for inclusive data sets,
Second – we are blessed with a trusted life sciences and research sector to safeguard genetic data for the good of the world,
Third – Because we have big data, AI and quantum computing capabilities, imperative for sensitive end-to-end data crunching.

We all had a lovely time discussing how Government must offer long term support for genetic research, data management and future global insights.

Anthony Browne, MP for South Cambridgeshire was a wonderful master of ceremony`s, with everyone offering exceptional insights to solve complex issues and build a better future all whilst having fun.
