Candesic advises ARCHIMED on investment in Renata Medical
Paediatric medical device company Renata Medical has just closed a $25m Series D financing round. The round was led by global private equity investment firm ARCHIMED
Candesic is delighted to have supported ARCHIMED with commercial due diligence on the investment in Renata, a US-based technology company focused on developing cardiovascular devices specifically for children with congenital heart disease.
The Candesic team was led by Senior Partner Marc Kitten, assisted by Senior Engagement Managers Kristoffer Kenttä Kentta and Chris Cassar.
The investment provides a platform for Renata’s continued growth both in the US and internationally, including the ongoing commercialisation of its Minima Stent System, the first balloon expandable growth stent designed specifically for use in neonates, infants, and young children with specific medical needs.
We thank all involved in facilitating this successful financing and look forward to seeing Renata’s continued success.
