Bupa UK Insurance has secured a significant three-year contract with Nuffield Health. The partnership positions both organisations to capitalise on growing private medical insurance (PMI) market demand while addressing NHS capacity challenges through expanded service delivery channels.

The UK private healthcare market is experiencing robust growth. The contract enables Bupa to expand access to Nuffield Health’s extensive network of 31 hospitals, 100+ fitness and wellbeing centres, and specialised clinical services, enhancing Bupa’s ability to serve its growing customer base of 40.9 million insurance customers.

For Nuffield Health, the partnership provides stable referral volumes that support its financial recovery trajectory, strengthening its position as a preferred provider for major insurers.

Notably, this partnership coincides with leadership integration between the organisations, as Alex Perry transitions from CEO of Bupa UK Insurance to lead Nuffield Health. Perry’s 16 years of executive experience at Bupa positions him uniquely to deepen operational synergies and drive efficiency improvements across the partnership.
