Radiology Partners acquiring Everlight Radiology in AUD1bn deal

1 September 2026

Radiology Partners, the leading American provider of technology and AI-enabled imaging services, is to acquire Everlight Radiology in an AUD1bn deal.

Candesic provided AI vendor commercial due diligence to Everlight Radiology. Candesic’s work focused on commercial due diligence of Everlight’s AI capabilities.

The transaction creates a dominant global force in the teleradiology sector by unifying the largest domestic platform in the United States with an expansive international network. It marks a successful exit for the UK-based private equity firm Livingbridge, which has held a majority stake in Everlight since 2021.

For healthcare operators and investors, the acquisition addresses a critical bottleneck in modern medicine: the widening gap between skyrocketing scan volumes and a global shortage of qualified radiologists.

Everlight operates a sophisticated “follow-the-sun” model, employing over 800 consultant radiologists across more than 40 countries. By routing urgent scans from hospitals in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa to specialists working during their local daylight hours, the company eliminates the diagnostic risks associated with nocturnal fatigue while improving turnaround times.

Whilst the groups will share technology and clinical standards, they have confirmed that local licensing and credentialing guardrails will remain strictly partitioned to ensure doctors only report on patient scans from regions where they hold valid medical licenses.

The acquisition remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
