Dynamic FemTech market

27 March 2024

Candesic Senior Partner Dr Michelle Tempest and Alina Trabattoni have been speaking to leaders in the FemTech market for a piece due to be published by LaingBuisson shortly. Ahead of that, a look at publicly available figures turns up some interesting disparities.

Take these figures from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, relating to self-perceived health.

More than two-thirds of people in the EU perceived their health as good or very good in 2022, but there is a self-perceived gender health gap. Males tend to rate their health better than women. In all EU member states except Ireland, the share of people perceiving their health as good or very good was higher for males than females.

Keep an eye out for our soon-to-be-published piece shining a spotlight on a cohort of outstanding leaders driving the increasingly dynamic FemTech market – and find out why the UK is one of the markets to watch.
