This was the clear takeaway from HealthTechX Global 2024 – The Future of Chronic Care, as panellists at the London summit encouraged operators and investors to join forces and debated the strong merits of linking outcomes with financing and value-based care.
Candesic Senior Partner Dr Michelle Tempest shared her thoughts on the benefits of a joined-up approach in conversation with Bjoern von Siemens, co-founder and CFO at Caresyntax, Ranjan Singh, CEO and co-founder at HealthHero, and Molly Gilmartin, healthtech investor at AlbionVC.
Speakers in other sessions included Indra Joshi from Palantir Technologies on AI’s place in healthcare, Martin McShane from Optum UK on bridging healthcare inequities, and Stephen Critchlow from Evergreen Life and Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli from Patients Know Best on healthtech in the NHS landscape.
